Dressed Shredded Lettuce

Elevate your plain lettuce! It is the ideal zesty companion for an Italian sub, complete with a tangy vinegar kick and a sprinkle of Italian herbs.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cup Oil, olive blend
  • 2 cup Vinegar, red wine
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Italian Herb Blend
  • 2 tsp Pepper, black, ground
  • 2 lbs + 4 oz Lettuce, romaine, shredded

Steps:

  1. Using a large mixing bowl, add all dressing ingredients and whisk until combined.
  2. Add the shredded romaine and gently mix to coat lettuce in dressing,
  3. No bare hand contact with ready to eat food.

  4. Transfer to a food storage container cover, label, and date. Cold hold at 41°F or lower for service.
  5. Hold at 41°F or below.
