Chopped Green Onions

Offer chopped green onions on topping bars for grit bowls, baked potatoes, hot dogs, and more. Fresh and flavorful with a mild bite.

Chopped Green Onions

Ingredients:

  • 7 lbs + 8 oz Scallions, fresh

Steps:

  1. Wash scallions under cool running water.
  2. No bare hand contact with ready to eat food.

  3. Trim the ends off scallions and thinly slice.
  4. Place in 2-inch or 4-inch skinny pans, or a 6-pan configuration, for use on topping bars.
  5. Cold hold, covered, for use.
  6. Hold at 41°F or below.
