Peaches & Cream Overnight Oats

Easy to prepare, these overnight oats are creamy, sweet, and packed with delicious peach flavor. This make-ahead recipe is perfect for busy breakfast production and service.

Peaches & Cream Overnight Oats

Ingredients:

OVERNIGHT OATS:

  • 3 lbs + 8 oz Oats, rolled, quick, dry
  • 2 tbsp Spice, cinnamon, ground
  • 1 tbsp Spice, cardamom, ground
  • 1 tbsp Spice, nutmeg, ground
  • 2 qt + 1 1/2 cup Milk, 2%
  • 13 lbs Yogurt, low fat, vanilla
  • 1 lbs Honey

FRUIT TOPPING:

  • 2 #10 can Peaches, diced, extra light syrup, canned
  • 1 cup Sugar, brown

Steps:

DAY PRIOR TO SERVICE:

  1. Prepare the overnight oats. Using a large mixing bowl, combine oats, cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg. Stir to mix the spices throughout.
  2. Pour the milk over the oat mixture and stir to blend.
  3. Then add the yogurt and honey and mix to combine.
  4. Allow the oat mixture to thicken, approximately 10 minutes. This step makes portioning simple.

  5. Drain diced peaches of excess liquid.
  6. Portion 1 cup overnight oats in clear cup and top with 1/3 cup diced peaches.
  7. Store in the cooler, wrapped, labeled, and dated.
  8. Hold at 41°F or below.

DAY OF SERVICE:

  1. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon brown sugar over the peaches in each serving of overnight oats.
