Hot Honey Peach Chicken Sammy
A recipe from Georgia Department of Education School Nutrition
This recipe combines crispy chicken with a drizzle of hot-honey, and sweet-tangy slaw to create a delicious sandwich. When tested in Clinch County, the students gave it two big thumbs up!
Ingredients:
- 50 each Crispy Chicken Sandwich
- 100 each Pickles, dill, chips
- 3 1/2 cup Hot Honey Glaze
- 12 1/2 cup Putnam Peach Slaw
Steps:
- Drizzle 1 tablespoon of hot honey on each cooked chicken breast. Top with 2 pickles.
- Hot hold chicken sandwiches, until served.
- Just before serving, top each chicken filet with 1/4 cup Putnam Peach Slaw.
No bare hand contact with ready to eat food.
Hold at 135°F or above.
This recipe should be batch cooked throughout service. Discard after 30 minutes.
