Hot Honey Glaze

This hot honey recipe is a breeze to whip up, tastes amazing, and has a fantastic texture. It is the ideal topping for everything from pizza to biscuits, veggies, and chicken sandwiches!

Hot Honey Glaze

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup Oil, vegetable
  • 2 cup Pepper, red, crushed, flakes
  • 3 qt Honey
  • 3/4 cup Vinegar, apple cider

Steps:

  1. Add the oil to a small saucepan. Heat the oil over medium-high heat to warm, 2 minutes.
  2. If your kitchen does not have burners, place the oil in a small pan and heat in a hot oven 5 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and immediately add the crushed red pepper flakes.
  4. The hot oil crisps the red pepper flakes creating a great crunch effect.

  5. Transfer chili oil to a mixing bowl and whisk in the honey and vinegar.
  6. Store, labeled and dated, in an air tight container for use. Discard within 7 days.
