Fresh Cantaloupe Cubes

Fresh cantaloupe is sweet and juicy. Serve this fresh fruit side often when Georgia Grown cantaloupes are in season.

Cantaloupe in 2-ounce cups.

Ingredients:

  • 35 lbs Cantaloupe, melons, raw

Steps:

  1. Remove sticker, if needed. Rinse melons in cool, running water.
  2. Cut the rind from the melons. Scoop and discard seeds and pith. Cut the melons into medium bite-size pieces.
  3. Portion 1/2 cup of cantaloupe cubes with a #8 scoop or 4-ounce spoodle in individual serving containers for service.
  4. Hold at 41°F or below.
