Crunchy, smoky, and packed with flavor, crumbled bacon makes a delicious topping for baked potatoes, creamy breakfast grits, or fresh salads.

Crumbled Bacon

Ingredients:

  • 50 slice Bacon, sliced, precooked

Steps:

DAY PRIOR TO SERVICE:

  1. Chop the bacon into bite-size pieces and place on parchment lined sheet pans.

DAY OF SERVICE:

  1. Crisp bacon in oven at 350°F for 3 minutes.
  2. Place 1 tablespoon crumbled bacon into portion cups and hot hold for service.
  3. Topping bar serving is 1 tablespoon.
  4. Bacon does not credit as a component.
