Chilled Watermelon Sticks

Fresh Georgia Grown watermelon is sweet and juicy. This chilled, refreshing fruit side is easy to grab, fun to eat, and loved by students.
Ingredients:
- 33 lbs Watermelon, fresh
Steps:
- Remove sticker, if needed. Rinse melons in cool, running water.
- Carefully cut each watermelon in half, lengthwise.
- Slice each half into 3/4-inch-thick slabs, then cut those into uniform sticks approximately 3/4-inch wide by 4-inches long.
- Portion 1/2 cup (about 4-5 sticks or 3 1/2 ounces) into individual serving containers for easy service.
- Serving is 1/2 cup (about 4-5 sticks or 3 1/2 ounces).
No bare hand contact with ready to eat food.
Hold at 41°F or below.
