Bold Marinara Sauce

This is a quick and easy recipe with a big impact. The flavor achieved from adding these herbs and spices completely transforms canned marinara sauce. This Bold Marinara Sauce is a simple way to elevate flavor.
Ingredients:
- 1 #10 can Sauce, marinara
- 1/4 cup Italian Herb Blend
- 1 tbsp Spice, garlic, granulated
- 1 tbsp Pepper, red, crushed, flakes
- 1 tbsp Pepper, black, ground
- 1 tbsp Spice, onion, powder
- 2 tsp Salt, Kosher
Steps:
- Add all ingredients to steam jacket kettle and whisk to combine.
- Bring the sauce to a boil and immediately reduce to simmer.
- Simmer marinara sauce 15 minutes.
- Once the sauce has simmered for 15 minutes, it is ready for use in recipes.
Cook to 135°F or higher.
Hold at 135°F or above.
