Sumac Spiced Mandarin Oranges

Sumac is tart, lemony, and slightly sweet. Students love the bright crimson red color as well as the enhanced flavor it brings to the mandarin oranges.

Sumac Spiced Mandarin Oranges in cups.

Ingredients:

  • 4 #10 can Oranges, mandarin, drained
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Spice, sumac, ground

Steps:

  1. Portion mandarin oranges into 1/2 cup servings.
  2. Generously sprinkle each serving with sumac.
  3. Hold cold until served.
  4. Hold at 41°F or below.
