Honey Mint Citrus Watermelon

This refreshing recipe combines juicy watermelon cubes with a drizzle of sweet honey, a hint of zesty citrus, and a sprinkle of fresh mint leaves.

Honey Mint Citrus Watermelon

Ingredients:

Steps:

    No bare hand contact with ready to eat food.

  1. Prepare the Honey Mont Citrus Dressing per recipe instructions. Cold hold, covered, until needed.
  2. Hold at 41°F or below.

  3. Remove sticker, if needed. Rinse melons in cool, running water.
  4. Cut 1/2-inch off both ends to create a flat surface. Stand watermelon upright on one flat end.
  5. Cut off the rind, following the shape of the watermelon.
  6. Slice the watermelon into ½-inch to 1-inch slices. Then cut each slice into cubes.
  7. Place watermelon cubes in a large mixing bowl and gently toss the fruits with the dressing and allow to marinate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  8. Use a #8 scoop or a 4-ounce spoodle to portion out 1/2 cup of watermelon cubes into individual serving containers for easy service
  9. Hold at 41°F or below.

  10. Serving is 1/2 cup.
