Nashville Hot Sauce

Nashville Hot Sauce is a regional hot sauce that combines cayenne pepper, other spices, and brown sugar for a robust flavor. The sauce is the perfect blend of sweet and heat.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Spice, pepper, cayenne
  • 1/2 cup Butter, buds
  • 1/4 cup Sugar, brown
  • 2 tbsp Spice, chili, powder
  • 2 tbsp Spice, garlic, granulated
  • 2 tbsp Spice, paprika, ground
  • 1 tbsp Spice, pepper, black, ground
  • 1 qt Water, tap

Steps:

  1. Using a mixing bowl, combine cayenne pepper, butter buds, brown sugar, chili powder, granulated garlic, paprika, and black pepper.
  2. Add water and whisk to combine all ingredients.
  3. Cold hold until needed.
  4. Hold at 41°F or below.

    This recipe can be cold held for up to 7 days.
